Devilishly delicious BEAR Claws

Devilishly delicious BEAR Claws make the perfect Halloween treat

Posted on November 2, 2016April 2, 2019 by jenny

My children have been looking forward to Halloween throughout October. Our lightbox turned into a countdown and they were forever double checking how many days! Halloween can be a great event for children. There are the spooky costumes, the scary films, the pumpkin carving, the Halloween crafts and of course, the Trick or Treating.

BEAR Claws treats

One thing I’m not so keen on is the emphasis on all the sweets and sugary stuff. The shops have been full of special Halloween branded sweets, cakes and biscuits for weeks. It’s hard to hide from those products, and even harder to hide them from my children, especially during the recent half term.

I’m all for making sure my children have fun and I found the perfect treat for a healthier Halloween. BEAR Claws are devilishly delicious and best of all are 100% whole fruit and veg, mashed into deliciously freaky shapes that you can make into monsters. With one whole third made up of veg, this range is a fun and tasty way to get your little monsters munching on more veg, and less sugar.

There are four tasty recipes in the range: Apple, Pear & Pumpkin, Strawberry & Butternut, Mango & Carrot and Blackcurrant & Beetroot . There’s no need to worry about the nasties, as BEAR Claws have absolutely no added nonsense. No sugar, concentrates, stabilisers or preservatives… absolutely nothing!

Devilishly delicious BEAR Claws and pumpkin

The Strawberry & Butternut BEAR Claws are easily our favourite flavour. I love the fact they are only full of good things – perfect for keeping my little Trick or Treaters full of energy as we go round and visit our neighbours. My little ones were so taken with them that they insisted we carve a BEAR Claws monster onto our pumpkin! We’ve even filled our spiders web bowl with tasty BEAR Claws for any visitors who knock on our door tonight.

Bear donated a whole load of samples for a charity event a few years ago and they went down a treat! I too love that they are only full of goodness and not all the rubbish often found in other kids snacks.

So cool. We haven’t tried out the claws yet but Hayden usually has the other type in his pack lunch.
Might try switching it up but I don’t think Ive seen the claws in my local Tesco – I need to look properly.
Thanks so much for this hun.

    Love the crafts too 😀
