Biscuiteers biscuit tin

Biscuiteers biscuits for Fathers Day {Classic Car Show Biscuit Collection review}

Posted on June 2, 2016October 24, 2019 by jenny

So it’s not so long ago that I wrote a post about getting a gift for the man who has everything. I always find Father’s Day a little bittersweet as I lost my own Dad a few years ago. However I am lucky to be married to the most amazing man and love to treat him when I can. I’ve already told you about the little personalised gifts the children have made for him but I thought he might like something a little more grown up too from Biscuiteers.

My wonderful husband bought me my first and only (so far!) tin of Biscuiteer biscuits a few years ago. I can’t even remember the occasion, although I still have the pretty tin, which I use for storing my fabric scraps. Biscuiteers make beautiful hand iced biscuits which are perfect for celebrating little or big moments and everything in between.

They kindly offered me a sneak preview of one of their special Father’s Day collections and I chose the Classic Car Show Biscuit Collection as my husband is a total petrol head. The Classic Car Show Biscuit Collection describes itself as “the ultimate biscuit gift for motor lovers, featuring some of our favourite classic cars. These beautiful biscuits are the tastiest things on four wheels – inspired by iconic classic car designs, they‘re the perfect present for the driver in your life”.

I always find the packaging impressive, as you would expect with a quality gift. The hand iced biscuits are carefully arranged in layers with 4 biscuits on each, a little icing holds each one in place which means they arrive in perfect condition. The tin is re-usable and a real delight to open. You carefully remove the lid to see a layer of tissue paper. Underneath the tissue paper are four layers of beautiful biscuits, featuring classic cars, a steering wheel, speedometer and key fob.

I know it’s not Father’s Day just yet but I sneaked these away in my luggage so we could enjoy them whilst we were away. We only opened them once the children were in bed. Even though this collection is described as a family tin I thought they were just too good to share with them. The biscuits have a lovely crunch, a light vanilla flavour, and they are beautiful to look at and enjoy.

The Classic Car Show Biscuit Collection from Biscuiteers is available to order from their website priced £42.50. They sell a range of products for Father’s Day including a fun personalised beer glass card and World’s Best Dad jolly ginger.

    Lovely looking biscuits. My dad is no longer around but I’m on the look out for something for my one year old to give to her daddy for father’s day.
