Colour with Me, Mum! by Jasmine Narayan

Win a copy of Colour With Me, Mum!

Posted on April 20, 2016April 20, 2016 by jenny

I love adult colouring books as you probably all know by now. I spend so long colouring with my children that I’m happy to have my own books and am happy to spend some time colouring in when I need to switch off for a bit. I keep thinking that there can’t possibly be any more to invent when I was told about Colour with Me, Mum! by Jasmine Narayan.

Featuring over 50 unique colouring templates, family psychologist Dr. Jasmine Narayan’s colouring book is shaped to make colouring side by side easier. Each spread features a single piece of art connected across the page. One side has more intricate artwork for you, while the other has simplified artwork for your child. While you are each working on your own piece, they come together to form one beautiful, single piece of art!

Colour with me Mum

The book also includes 100 questions to generate thoughtful responses from your child, and how to best communicate with your child through colouring. It’s a lovely book and the paper feels like good quality. I really like the concept although my 4 year old didn’t quite understand it and kept trying to “help” me with my side!

Colour with Me, Mum! is priced at £8.99 and officially releases on 1st May. It is published by Race Point Publishing and available from Amazon and all good bookshops.

Win a copy of Colour with Me, Mum!

I’ve been enjoying this book with both my children and I’m so excited to have one copy to giveaway too! For your chance to win please leave a comment on this post via the Rafflecopter widget. The giveaway ends on 5th May and the prize will be sent direct from the publisher. Find more competitions at ThePrizeFinder.

I don’t own An adult colouring book as I know the girlies would want to use it and I wouldn’t get a look in, this idea sounds great though so we can both do a page!
If I had to choose a theme it would maybe be the amazing sights of around the world.

I would love a fashion one, I know there would be mostly white but BRIDAL colouring books would be an absolute dream to do. Also the ones where the medieval type clothing was worn. I used to love doing the Christmas ones when I was younger where the animals were decorating the tree, having Christmas dinner etc (sorry that’s a bit random lol).
