Once again we were the lucky recipients of a bundle of craft kits from Baker Ross which kept my children busy during half term. With the weather turning a little less wintery (I can hope, can’t I?!), the children playing outside more and my tête-à-tête blooming, I declare it is time for Springtime crafting!

EASTER Egg FUSE BEAD decorations!

We were sent a selection of Easter crafts. The children loved the mini birdhouse gift boxes and ceramic bird planters. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll see I have been sharing some photos of these Easter makes over there.

We all enjoyed the Easter Egg fuse bead kits. The kit contained 3 peg boards, lots of colourful fuse beads, silver string, paper to iron the beads together and instructions to make 6 different eggs.

Everyone knows how to craft with fuse beads and they are a great activity for improving fine motor skills.

My 5 year old can follow the pattern to make his own but my 4 year old preferred to find the beads and for me to place them on the board.

The eggs took about 10 minutes to make one so they are a great after school activity or something to keep small hands occupied whilst you’re preparing dinner. The kit contained 6 designs but you could make your own up too.

String was included so the Easter egg fuse bead decorations can be hung and we will be adding them to our seasonal tree shortly. Have you started crafting for Easter yet?

  1. These look great fun. I would quite like to do one of these, never mind the kids. I can’t believe it’s nearly Easter. Wasn’t it Christmas yesterday?
