Monday happy things

Posted on December 8, 2014February 6, 2016 by jenny

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Time really is running away from me at the moment. We had one of those ‘quiet’ weekends at home which actually meant we barely sat down til 10 o’clock last night. The children have gone crazy about Christmas and we’re *just* about coping with their excitable behaviour.

There have been lots of happy moments this week.

My favourite was definitely the day I spent crafting with my 4 year old at Tea & Crafting in Camden. We made a Christmas tree sun catcher and a personalised stocking which I will be telling you more about this week. I love this photo of him holding up a Christmas jumper. He loved every second of our day together.

This weekend I tried something different and baked a 2D gingerbread house. Again, a blog post will follow as soon as I have some time.

Our new G Plan Vintage sofa and snuggler were finally delivered this week and they are gorgeous and so very comfortable. I can’t wait to show them off during the festive season as we have lots of visitors.

There was time for a little stitching as I’ve been busy making a sweet tray of gingerbread men for a fabric ATC swap. It’s now winging it’s way to my partner and I really hope she likes it.

Last week I spent a couple of days helping out at my son’s school Christmas Fayre. I helped wrap the gifts the children bought for their families which was lovely and I also enjoyed the chance to see my son in his school environment. He was so happy to have some money to spend and he’s put his presents away (I wasn’t allowed to wrap them) until Christmas Day. He’s growing up far too quickly.
