Alternative Easter eggs from Playmobil

My very lucky children were recently sent early Easter presents from Playmobil, Playmobil Easter eggs. They always seem to receive lots of chocolate at Easter and these are a great alternative and a little longer lasting too! Inside the plastic shell is a Playmobil figure and the shell can be re-used as a money box.

Little Sis was delighted with her magenta egg with the Flower Fairy with Enchanted Tree and Big Brother received a Biker with Motorcycle in the blue egg. Both were easy to put together and my children enjoyed playing with them  and adding them to their Playmobil collections.

I liked the fact you can remove the cardboard sleeve if you want the contents to be a surprise and you can also reuse the shell. My children have been having as much fun with the eggs as the contents!

There are four eggs in the range, as well as the two we received there’s also a yellow egg containing the Robo Gang Spy with Glider and an orange egg containing a Native American Girl with Forest Animals which should have a wide appeal. The alternative Easter eggs from Playmobil cost £5.99 each which I think compares really well to the price of chocolate eggs.

What do you think and what will you be giving your children this Easter?

  1. I’ve never managed to find Playmobil Easter eggs – which is a shame as we always need to find non food treats due to allergies. My children have outgrown their Playmobil now though sadly.

  2. I haven’t really thought about what to give F for Easter, for some reason it isn’t really on my radar as much. I think maybe something educational and fun would be for us. x

  3. These are a great idea. Will really dislikes chocolate and is so disappointed when people buy him chocolate eggs. He’d be thrilled with one of these instead.

  4. What a great idea and such a cute gift. I do think that little gifts are often niver than piles and piles of chocolate 🙂

  5. I recently made chocolate krispies using chocolate left over from LAST Easter!! These seem like a great alternative – my mum usually buys B an egg so will suggest a change this year!
