3-in-1 Trike with DiscoverSounds Dashboard

Posted on October 26, 2012January 21, 2019 by jenny

3in1 trikeI can honestly say we love Little Tikes so I was delighted to be asked to review the 3-in-1 Trike with DiscoverSounds Dashboard. The box was surprisingly small considering it converts to three stages and it was easy to put together (according to daddy). You don’t have to worry about storing lots of pieces to convert the trike as all the pieces are really well thought out.

My children are the perfect age for this trike. The 10 month loves it as she can be taken for a ride whilst playing with the interactive dashboard. The toddler has also been using it (without the tummy bar) and quickly learnt to pedal and steer all by himself. Both had fun with the the interactive dashboard. The working steering wheel offers both lights and sounds, including the sound of an engine starting, revving, police and fire sirens, plus turning signals with LED lights.

We put together a little video of our most recent trip to the park so please take a look to see the trike in action. You’ll see Little Sis enjoying a ride being pushed by everyone, the handlebar can be adjusted so her brother could even push her. You’ll also see her playing with the dashboard before she gets distracted by some dogs. The tummy bar is brilliant for keeping her safe and upright but is easily removed for her bigger brother.

  • The 3-in-1 Trike with DiscoverSounds Dashboard adjusts and grows with your child through three stages – parent guided riding, learning and finally independent cycling.
  • The highly interactive DiscoverSounds Dashboard gives added value and extra interest for the child, and can easily be removed from the Trike for stand-alone play.
  • Some of the features include four position seat fitting children of all sizes, five-point seat harness, protective safety bar, non-slip pedals and an adjustable, detachable push handle allowing parents one-handed control.
  • There is also a removable shade canopy that adjusts to any angle great for summer use, a drinks holder, large storage bucket at the back and a handy zippered bag.

The children have been having loads of fun with the trike. As a parent I love the fact it really grows with your child and is so easy to adapt even I can do it! I’m lucky that both my children can use it and as well as using it near home we’ve also packed it into the boot and gone further afield with it. I think it has some great features and am happy that the children are safe whilst having fun. The Little Tikes 3-in-1 Trike is the ideal first set of wheels!

More information can be found on the Little Tikes website.
