Crafts for kids Easter free printables Spring

Spring bunny origami corner bookmark {free printable}

I love Spring. It’s one of my favourite seasons, especially as there is more daylight each day. It’s lovely waking up to the sunshine and putting the kids to bed as it gets dark. The days seem full of promise and we are fitting in so many activities. I know Easter is right around the corner but today I have a lovely Spring craft for you.

Spring bunny origami corner bookmark supplies:
Origami paper
Colourful craft paper
scissors
glue
ruler
marker pens
PDF bunny template

How to make Spring bunny origami corner bookmark

Step 1:

Take a piece of the origami craft paper. (Remember the paper must be square!)

Step 2:

Bring the top corner of the paper towards the bottom corner and fold it in the middle to create a triangle.

Step 3:

Now take the top flap of the triangle and bring it upwards.

Place the point of the paper on the middle of the base of the triangle, them fold it there.

Step 4:

Now take the right point of the triangle and bring it downwards to the bottom point of the triangle.

Step 5:

Similarly, bring the left side of the triangle downwards to the bottom point.

This will create a diamond shape.

Step 6:

Tuck in both of the top flaps inside the upper pocket we created on Step 3. You have created a basic bookmark shape! Now to make it into a Spring Bunny!

Bunny Process

Step 7:

Use my free PDF bunny template to cut out the bunny’s ears, teeth and nose from coloured paper.

Step 8:

Glue the ears on two sides of the bookmark.

Step 9:

Then glue the nose on the middle of the bookmark (where the pocket ends).

Then use a marker pen to draw the eyes and whiskers of the bunny. You have made your own Spring bunny origami corner bookmark. These are so much to make and use, although you could also gift a few if you are stuck at home this Easter, as we are.

Let me know if you make any!

These are so adorable and I love the pastel shades of the paper. I’ve never been too good at origami but I think even I could do these x
