Alternative Easter gifts for kids Easter baskets

Alternative Easter gifts for kids’ Easter baskets

Posted on April 4, 2019September 1, 2020 by jenny

I’m so excited that we only have a few days left until the Easter holidays start. I always enjoy shopping for Easter gifts for my family. Every year I try and put an Easter basket together for my children. I’ve already bought the chocolate gifts but like to add a few alternative Easter gifts too, just to balance out all the chocolate. There are some lovely items around and some which have caught my eye include Cutetito’s, the Little Lucky Lunchbox range and the brand new My Little Pony Retro.

Cutetitos

There’s nothing more snuggly than a warm, happy pet wrapped up like a burrito – and Cutetitos brings this social media pet-wrapping trend to life in toy form! Hidden in foil just like a take-away burrito, each Cutetito is a loveable, high quality 7.5-inch soft toy animal wrapped in a super-soft burrito blanket. It’s a mystery which one you’ll unwrap – each comes with a pet collector card to tells you everything you need to know about your new pet Cutetito, including birthday, species, name and favourite quotito!

Cutetitos

My 7 year old just adores cuddly toys and immediately fell in love with the Cutetito. She was pleased to open a little puppito called Bellito and was especially happy that they share a birthday month.

There are 12 different pets to collect including puppito, catito, slothito, pigto, bunnito, bearito or monkito! Each Cutetito also has a personality and Hot Spot  that’s discovered when they’re unwrapped relating to their rarity level.

Little Lucky Lunchbox

My daughter just loves little pocket money collectibles and Basic Fun’s new Little Lucky Lunchbox range is set to satisfy any collectible appetite with a menu packed full of food, fun and surprise!

Little Lucky Lunchbox

Each cute culinary collectible Little Lucky Lunchbox contains two Foodie Friends, each holding a secret inside. A Little Foodie Friend or Sticker are the secret ingredients that bring these Little Lucky Lunchboxes to life. Children can mix, match, and trade their Foodie Friends to create the cutest little menu around.

My daughter found a little drinks carton and a bowl of mac n’ cheese in her. Hidden inside each one was another little surprise – a little sheep figure and a sticker! She loves a toy which can be unboxed and I can see her collecting more of these.

My Little Pony Retro

I was a big My Little Pony fan which I was a child. I had all the playsets and sticker albums and loved them! I was pretty sad when I grew out of them and kept a few of the MLP babies! My daughter had a few My Little Pony toys but I didn’t think they were anything like the originals. Which is why I was so excited to get my hands on the new My Little Pony Retro!

My Little Pony Retro

These have been introduced to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the brand and there are 6 to collect, all based on original designs. We received Tickle who came with a green ribbon in her hair, a green comb and collector’s guide.

Cutetitos are priced at £9.99, Little Lucky Lunchbox are priced at £6.99 each and My Little Pony Retro RRP £8.99; they are all available from all good toy stores, suitable for ages 3+.

These are great ideas. My Ethan would love a catito and my Logan would love the lunchbox as he loves any sort of play food!

My parents tended to buy us DVDs or books for easter as opposed to chocolate as everyone else would get us chocolate so we’d have enough x
