DIY Fortnite Slurp Juice Slime recipe for kids

DIY Fortnite Slurp Juice Slime recipe for kids

Posted on February 17, 2019 by jenny

Do your children love Fortnite? My 8 year old loves to play online with his friends whenever he can. I came up with this fun Fortnite craft for kids to make, it should keep them busy over half term if you are looking for something to do! There are a few ingredients needed for our DIY Fortnite Slurp Juice Slime recipe but it’s pretty straightforward to make.

Fortnite Slurp Juice Slime supplies:

For the green:
5 oz clear glue
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp contact solution
Kiwi soap colorant

For the blue:
5 oz clear glue
½ cup water
½ tsp baking soda
1 tbsp contact solution
Teal and navy soap colorant
Blue fishbowl beads
Container (We used an old jar)

How to make DIY Fortnite Slurp Juice Slime recipe for kids:

First let’s make the green part of the Fortnite Slurp Juice slime. In a bowl, pour 5 oz clear glue. Add 1/2 cup water.  Mix until the glue has broken up and is incorporated into the water.

Add a few drops of kiwi colorant and mix well.

Then mix 1/2 cup baking soda in. The baking soda will help determine your slime thickness so measure carefully!

Add 1 tbsp of contact solution and mix. The slime will be ready to knead when the slime starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. The contact solution is what makes the slime sticky or not so again, measure carefully!

Now it’s time to knead the slime.  It will be sticky at first but just keep kneading it! If you have to, you can add a little bit of contact solution, but be careful not to over activate. Then set aside your first batch of slime.

Now it’s time to make the blue part of the Fortnite Slurp Juice slime. In two small bowls, divide 5 oz clear glue evenly. Add 1/4 cup water in each bowl and mix until the glue has broken up and is incorporated into the water.

In one bowl, add a few drops of teal colorant and the other add a neon blue/navy mix of colorant.

Mix 1/2 cup baking soda in. Then add 1 tbsp of contact solution and stir. Then it’s time to knead the slime. Again, you can add a little bit of contact solution, but be careful not to over activate it. You should have three separate bowls of slime.

Now comes the fun part! Grab your glass jar or container and be ready to create your Fortnite Slurp Juice slime.

Fortnite has been a big success with my son, my nephews and even my brother in law. I do like the idea of Fortnite slime.

My daughter has recently discovered Fortnite and whilst I don’t truly understand it, I’m sure that she’d love to create some of this.
