Disney Pixar Incredibles 2 toys from Jakks Pacific

Disney Pixar Incredibles 2 toys from Jakks Pacific

Posted on July 14, 2018 by jenny

Can you believe that it’s 14 years since we were first introduced to The incredibles? I’ve always been a huge fan of Pixar films and enjoyed watching this when it first came out, and re-watching it with my children last week.

Disney Pixar’s The Incredibles

Bob Parr (A.K.A. Mr. Incredible), and his wife Helen (A.K.A. Elastigirl), are the world’s greatest famous crime-fighting superheroes in Metroville. Always saving lives and battling evil on a daily basis. But fifteen years later, they have been forced to adopt civilian identities and retreat to the suburbs and live a normal life with their three children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack (who were born with superpowers too). Itching to get back into action, Bob receives a mysterious communication which summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment. He soon discovers that it will take a super family effort to rescue the world from a vengeful fan-turned-foe and his killer robot.

I don’t know why it’s taken so long but at last The Incredibles 2 is out now (released on 13th July 2018), following straight on from where The Incredibles left off. Now Helen is out at work and Bob is a stay at home Dad, looking after Violet and Dash, unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

We were kindly sent some of the new Disney Pixar Incredibles 2 toys from Jakks Pacific to review. This morning the children both got their faces painted at Cineworld South Ruislip to celebrate their first anniversary. Sadly we weren’t able to stay to watch The Incredibles 2, hopefully next weekend!

Included in our bundle of toys was Disney Pixar Incredibles 2 The Official Guide from Dorling Kindersley, Incredibles 2 articulated Dash & Jack-Jack action figures, and a Jack-Jack Attacks doll.

Both my children love to read and Dorling Kindersley books are always pitched so perfectly for them. The Incredibles 2 The Official Guide is a great way to discover more about your favourite family. It includes information about all your favourite characters, new and old; Jack-Jack’s new powers and secrets of the Supers.

The Incredibles 2 The Official Guide

We love collecting our favourite characters from films and love the fact you can collect all The Incredibles characters action figures. They are a great way to carry on the fun at home and perfect to slip into pockets and take out with you. Our figure pack contained Dash and Jack-Jack – our favourites! They are articulated too which make them easy to play with.

The final toy we unboxed was the Jack-Jack Attacks figure. You can help little Jack-Jack take on the Backyard Invader with the awesome Jack-Jack Attacks Toy! Press Jack-Jack’s tummy to activate light and sound effects, as the little hero uses his powers to take down the raccoon. We haven’t watched the film yet so were a little confused about the raccoon, I’m sure it will all make sense when we watch it.

Jack-Jack is really cute and surprisingly soft to touch. Press his tummy and he will laugh and giggle, make electric spark sounds and change colour. It’s a really fun toy to play with!

We loved seeing some of the new line of Disney-Pixar Incredibles 2 toys from Jakks Pacific. As well as the ones we have reviewed there are also playsets such as Elastigirl’s Stretching and Speeding Elasticycle and Junior’s Supers Hydroliner Playset. I hope you’ve seen something you like!
