Monday Happy List

Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

Lego Minifigures Series 18

Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. I love starting off each week by writing my Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things blog post. It’s a great chance to reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week.

Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

Our family have gone a little crazy for the latest Lego Minfigs series. Lego Minifigures Series 18 has a PARTY theme celebrating 40 years of Lego. We love to collect the sets and have almost a full set thanks to our local toy shop. They have a very helpful swap board.

Did you know that Hobbycraft run a kids craft club? They hold fun events for kids to try different crafts and last week I booked them on the making slime one. They love making slime at home so I knew they’d enjoy the session. It only cost £1 and they were able to take their slime home! We bought lots more supplies to make more at home.

We saw our first Disney on Ice show last week at the SSE Arena at Wembley. Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment was really fun, featuring 4 of our favourite Disney stories – Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Cars and Frozen. We all loved the ice-skating and thought it was a really entertaining show. We also went to Shrek’s Adventure! London which was completely different but equally fun. I love that there’s so much to see and do in London.

We picked up a voucher for SeaLife Centres when we ate at Subway last week. Have you seen they’re currently running a fab offer where Kids Eat Free? We decided to use our voucher and had a fab day at the SeaLife Centre in Hunstanton. My 6 year old loves otters so was delighted to see the real life otters and watch them being fed. She got to hold a sea snail and touch a starfish which was pretty fun.

We’re spending a few days in North Norfolk, staying in the most beautiful little fisherman’s cottage. It has low doorways, sloping floors and a wood burner!

Have a great week everyone!
