Sylvanian Families Town range

Sylvanian Families Town Delicious Restaurant review

Posted on March 6, 2018March 6, 2018 by jenny

We have been pretty excited about the launch of the new Sylvanian Families Town range for a while now. On Friday we were finally able to see the whole range at our local toy shop. Both my children were so excited to see everything and Little Sis immediately bought the Sylvanian Families Town Chocolate Lounge set with her pocket money. You can see her unboxing over on our YouTube channel.

We were so lucky to be sent the Sylvanian Families Town Delicious Restaurant and Stella, the Chocolate Rabbit older sister figure. We made unboxing videos of both of these which you can find in our new Sylvanian Families Town playlist on our YouTube channel.

Sylvanian Families Restaurant

You may remember I said there were 22 products in the new Sylvanian Families Town range. The idea behind it is that it complements the Sylvanian Families world, and it’s where the older sisters work. You can connect many of the buildings to make your own town.

We were sent the Delicious Restaurant to review. It was really fun to open the box and see what was inside. The Delicious Restaurant consists of a 2 storey building with lots of accessories including stairs, windows, fences and awnings. Once these were set up we started on the inside.

This set doesn’t come with any figures but it did include a chef’s outfit, complete with a toque Blanche (a chef’s white hat!). There was also everything needed to get ready for a dinner or birthday party – a kitchen unit, kitchenware, table and chairs, menu board, and an amazing cake.

My daughter loved setting it all up and playing with it. There were a few stickers to place on the set but it was easy to get everything in the right place. We liked the fact that you can place the furniture on any floor, even the roof. The Delicious Restaurant connects to the Creamy Gelato Shop, the Designer Studio and the Grand Department Store.

The Delicious Restaurant didn’t come with a figure but we were sent Stella, the Chocolate Rabbit older sister to play with. She was a lovely addition to the Delicious Restaurant. She is dressed in a lovely dress with a hat and handbag.

My children are so excited to play with these new toys. They are a lovely addition to the Sylvanian Families range and bring it really up to date.

You can buy the Delicious Restaurant (£49.99) and Stella Chocolate Rabbit Town Girl (£9.99) and all the other items from the Sylvanian Families Town range from the Sylvanian Families Store, Amazon and all good toy shops.

I loved Sylvanian Families as a child. It’s so lovely to hear they are still very popular.

I think that’s what makes them so fun for little ones, they can recognise all the accessories we use too.

I adore Sylvanian Families. I first came across them in Switzerland many years ago. I think they are such a good role play toy, and I love the little details. The outfits are so cute.

Really cute and so much detail. It’s lovely to see toys that engage the imagination without the use of technology.
