Last week I visited Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium (London’s first cat cafe) to celebrate The LEGO NINJAGO Movie which comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on the 12th February.

You may wonder what the link is between cats and The LEGO NINJAGO Movie. If you haven’t been lucky enough to watch the film then let me tell you a little bit about it:

The battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are also secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat the evil warlord Garmadon, who also happens to be Lloyd’s father. Pitting father against son, the epic showdown tests these fierce but undisciplined modern-day ninjas as they learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash the inner power of Spinjitzu.

The monster in the film is a giant cat which is actually quite funny. Both my children loved The LEGO NINJAGO Movie, pretty much any Lego film is going to go down well with them. Sadly they weren’t allowed to visit the cat cafe (you need to be over the age of 12) but I had a lovely time; enjoying tea and cakes, surrounded by lots of feline friends.

As I was leaving Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium I was given a lovely The LEGO NINJAGO Movie goody bag which I thought I would share with you today.

  71. Master Wu – went to see this with my 5 year old son at the cinema as soon as it came out. He has always been a fan of the Cartoon series and the comics.

  258. Lloyd is one of the main characters. Or L…Loyd as his father calls him…I should know, I named him. POssibly my fave bit from the whole movie!
