Over the last few weeks I have been getting ready for Advent. For me Advent is the start of Christmas and we celebrate it with Advent calendars, counting down the days until Christmas Day. I recently spotted this lovely Sew Your Own Felt Nativity Set in Hobbycraft and thought it looked so much fun if you like being crafty at Christmas time.

This Sew Your Own Felt Nativity Set is the perfect way to handcraft your own Christmas decorations and create a stunning centrepiece. With all the materials included in the kit, along with a general sewing kit and fabric glue (which are not included), you’ll be able to make a nativity set that you can treasure for years to come.

The set allows you to make eight characters with ready-cut felt pieces that will give you everything from the angel and the three shepherds to Mary and Baby Jesus. Bring the nativity scene to life with your needle and thread.

The kit includes felt, PP cotton, thread, yarn, PPE and pailette, but you will also need a general sewing kit and fabric or strong glue which are not included. It comes with instructions to start stitching straight away.
