The 5 Most Unique Ways To Store Your Toys

We’ve all been in that situation where every single toy imaginable is spread out all over the floor and it takes everything in our power to tip toe over legos, Barbies, and cuddly toys.

Sometimes, the more traditional forms of storage just don’t fit in our home, whether it’s because of style or the fact we don’t have the space for bulky storage. The storage experts, Storebox, have put together this handy little infographic to give you a few ideas of how you could store the mountain of children’s toys you have cluttering up your home, in a more unique and space-friendly way.

Finding Unique Ways To Store Toys

It doesn’t matter how many times we tidy away toys, they never seem to fit snugly out of the way. As soon as we open the cupboard door, we get showered with action figures, the latest McDonalds Happy Meal toys and a mountain of soft toys -please tell me that’s not just our home?! With a bit of creative thinking, we can use items that are meant to have a different use, such as bookshelves and hanging baskets, to create storage that works for us.

Multi-tasking With Storage

The best way to create space saving and effective toy storage is to combine storage with another function. Some of the most effective toy storage is used as a form of decoration, such as wall baskets filled with brightly coloured toys or window benches. It not only keeps the toys out of the way, but you can easily blend it in with the decor of your home.

Have you tried any of these, more creative forms of storage? Why not give it a go and see how much difference you can make to the space in your home.

Sometimes I shove stuff out of the picture (all bloggers do), but for the most part, we have the toy situation figured out. Toy storage, organization, decluttering, decrapifying, simplifying, it can all be tricky. But once you figure out what works in your home and for your family, you can get the mess manageable and keep the toys from taking over.
