Deck the halls early this festive season when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases the critically acclaimed, charming family adventure Arthur Christmas which is out on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on 19th November from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Ever wondered just how can Santa deliver billions of presents to the whole world in just one night? With an army of one million combat-style Field Elves and a vast, state-of-the-art control center under the ice of the North Pole! So how could this incredible operation have MISSED one child?! To Santa’s young son, Arthur, it threatens to end the magic of Christmas. With retired Grand Santa, a rebellious young elf, an old sleigh and some untrained reindeer, Arthur sets out in a crazy mission to deliver the last present!
The Blu-ray and DVD boast kid-friendly extras, including the “Elf Recruitment” video, and a behind-the-scenes featurette, “Unwrapping Arthur Christmas,” in which viewers can learn more about The Claus family, Santa’s elves and the heart-warming story. Also included are five progression reels that explore how film-makers created the characters and key scenes in the film. In addition to the special features included on the Blu-ray and DVD, fans can experience the film in 3D exclusively with the Blu-ray 3D.
My family loved this film which is a definite festive favourite! We had fun guessing the actors behind the voices (including James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Bill Nighy, Jim Broadbent and Ashley Jensen). Arthur Christmas has a running time of approx 93 minutes (DVD) / 97 minutes (BD) and is rated U.
