Every month I challenge myself to make the Mollie Makes magazine cover gift. I’ve subscribed since it first came out and have a drawer full of unopened kits. The latest issue included a free calendar which was nice, but I missed my little crafty project. Luckily I picked up a copy of Prima Makes which had a cute little kit to make two festive finger puppet. Today I am bringing you Jenny Makes Prima Makes!

The kit contained pieces of felt in light brown, light grey, white, dark brown and black. I supplied the basic sewing kit. I cut the template from the back of the magazine and cut out my felt shapes.
There was plenty of felt to make a very cute reindeer and penguin finger puppet and they were easy projects to make.
Of course as soon as my 3 year old saw them she claimed them as her own 🙂

Awww these little finger puppets are adorable and don’t look that difficult to make, even for a complete novice like me!
Oh my goodness they are too cute – I think I would be tempted to add a little stuffing and make them tiny plushies! x

These are seriously cute! I had to smile at the last line. I can totally relate! My Toddler is going through the “mine” stage. According to her the entire world is hers.
These really are super cute. One of my local tat stores as I call them, have some similar patterns for tree hanging ornaments and I am debating getting them x
I love Christmas crafty things it just makes this time of year seem even more magical.
These are so cute, I’d love to be able to make them but anything I make looks like a 2 year old has made it.

My favorite things about Christmas are little crafts and gifts like these, as well as the smell of cinnamon that is always in the house.
