Win a family ticket to Nickelodeon Land to meet Poppy Cat

Over the Bank Holiday weekend we visited Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. We stayed in the wonderful Big Blue Hotel which gave us easy and early access to the Pleasure Beach. The children had amazing built in bunk beds with their own tv screens so were pretty happy. One of the 10 rollercoasters went past our window so they couldn’t wait to get in to the park the next day.

Nickelodeon Land takes up a large part of the Pleasure Beach and we loved it. We headed straight to the Nickelodeon stage to find out when our favourite Nick Jr characters were appearing throughout the day. My 3 year old couldn’t wait to see Poppy Cat and we managed to see Dora, Sponge Bob and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too. We were happy to explore the rides until Poppy Cat appeared and gathered with a small crowd to see her.

We listened to a couple of stories, sang songs and the children were rewarded with prizes for taking part – copies of the latest issue of Poppy Cat magazine and chocolate eggs. Just before she left the stage Little Sis was able to have her photograph taken with Poppy Cat which made her day.

Poppy Cat is the featured character at Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s Nickelodeon Land between April 20th – May 22nd and will be making regular appearances throughout the day to entertain the kids.

  2. I took the kids at Easter to Nickelodeon land and they had a ball meeting all the characters, there favourite was the teenage mutant turtles and I have a great photo of them all together!

  9. wow! I feel like I’ve been living under a rock! I’ve never heard of Nickelodeon Land or Poppy the Cat – and I have a nearly 4 year old! Great to know, as we’re looking for somewhere fun to take my son for his birthday, so I will definitely have a look at this!

  12. Looks like you had a good day, it’s been years since I visited the Pleasure Beach, or Blackpool for that matter, might be worth planning a trip up there.
