The Weekly Edit {Week 5/2026}

Starting my week with the Weekly Edit is a ritual I’ve kept for years. It’s my favourite Monday morning anchor—a chance to slow down, celebrate the ‘small wins,’ and gather the smiles from the week behind us. Part reflection and part record-keeping, it’s my way of documenting our family’s adventures before the next chapter begins.

We are all massive F1 fans so were excited to hear about the new Kit Kat F1 chocolates. They are only available at Morrisons Daily so it took me a while to track them down but I did! Kit Kat is the official chocolate bar of Formula 1 and they are also running competitions to win tickets on normal multipacks (which is a good excuse to buy more!).

It’s been raining a lot so it feels like I’ve been binge watching. Last week we watched The Seven Dials Mystery by Agatha Christie on Netflix which was good, as well as Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1, also on Netflix.

We did make it out of the house and went to watch The Housemaid at the cinema. I don’t usually enjoy thrillers and did have to watch some it through my fingers.

Over the weekend I went to the Fashion and Textile Museum to take part in a subverted tea towel workshop with Holly Searle. Using vintage tea towels, the original meaning is subverted by adding a statement which alters the original perspective. It was fun and a great way to spend a morning.

Laura Wall puzzle

I seem to do a lot of puzzles over the winter months and finished another Laura Wall jigsaw. This was 1000 pieces and has been half done for a while, so it felt good to finish it.

Until next week—find the joy in the little things.
