My 9 year old is obsessed with Fortnite. I have to admit it’s not my favourite game that he plays but he’s allowed time to play if he does his homework. It’s a bit of cliche that you can see your children grow during the school holidays, but it’s a cliche because it’s true! It doesn’t feel as though I’ve stopped washing clothes, cooking meals or food shopping since the school holidays began. Every year I forget just how much energy my children have and I really can see them grow during the summer months. I love my children but the one conversation I’m not looking forward to is any of the grown up ones! Both my children are inquisitive little people and I like and encourage that. I always tell them there’s no such thing as a silly question and if I don’t know the answer I can help them find it.
