    Easy woven heart decorations

This year I am really looking forward to working with some great craft brands and I am excited to be sharing a post today which has been sponsored by Bostik. We received a wonderful box of craft supplies and Bostik glues to make something special for Valentines Day. With both children off sick from school yesterday, it was the perfect activity to keep them occupied. The craft supplies included brightly coloured paper and felt so we decided to make some Scandi style felt heart decorations for our living room. Traditionally made at Christmas time, I didn’t see why we couldn’t…

    Ikea hack Lego table

Last year we spent some time sorting out our 5 year olds bedroom. He doesn’t seem to need much sleep so we wanted to make an area for him to play when he wakes up early. He already had an Ikea Trofast unit but we thought we would give it a makeover and make it more useful. Much as I don’t want to, I really love some Ikea furniture. It is cheap, cheerful, good value and easy to customise. I’d seen lots of Ikea hack Lego tables on Pinterest and knew I wanted to make something similar. Equipment needed: White…

Jenny Makes Mollie Makes Gold Succulent Kit

Every month I challenge myself to make the Mollie Makes magazine cover gift. I’ve subscribed since it first came out and have a drawer full of unopened kits but no more. I’ve been making more time for crafting and I love to try something new with each of the cover gifts. Issue 61 ofMollie Makes came with a Gold Succulent Craft Kit. The kit made 4 different things so you could choose to make whatever you liked which I thought was a nice touch. You could choose from a brooch, necklace, a key tassel or plant pot holder. I opted…

    Fabric holly and berries wreath

Last year I bought myself a sweet Felt and Fabric Holly Garland kit from John Lewis. Did I get round to making it? No! So this November I took out the kit and started to make it. I cut out the holly leaves using different shades and fabrics. Then I machine stitched them. Then I left them until this weekend when I finally had time to get them out. The kit included lots of different sized red buttons for the berries but I couldn’t decide if I wanted to use them. I sent these pictures to my sister to see…

I’m really hoping I’ll find a cinema ticket under the tree for me to go and see it! My 5 year old has fallen in love with BB-8 the cute little droid in Star Wars so I thought I would make him a special BB-8 droid Star Wars decoration. When the Little Red-Haired Girl moves into his neighbourhood, Charlie Brown develops a crush on her. Meanwhile, his best friend Snoopy embarks on an epic adventure in a fantasy world. As a World War I flying ace, the lovable beagle pursues his nemesis, the Red Baron, while also trying…
