    Orla Kiely biscuits

It’s been a while since I’ve made any gingerbread biscuits and as a playdate was cancelled yesterday I thought I would bake some. I used a gingerbread cookie mix I bought from John Lewis. The mixture smelt delicious and it was lovely to do some easy baking! You all know what an Orla Kiely freak I am so I thought it would be fun to make my favourite stem print into a template for an icing sugar decoration. Simple but effective. You may wonder why I only managed to photograph one biscuit? Let’s just say I discovered my son shares…

    Orla Kiely inspired suitcase

My most recent thrifted find was this lovely little vintage suitcase. I can’t imagine why anyone would make, let along buy, such a small suitcase. Perhaps it’s just me who can’t leave home without the kitchen sink! Anyway, it’s made of cardboard and lined with paper and I thought it would be a perfect backdrop for my photographs which I’m really trying to improve this year. It needed a bit of cheering up though so I purchased some Orla Kiely wrapping paper, featuring my favourite colourful stem print. The paper is reversible – small stem print on one side and…

    Orla Kiely loveliness

As much as I love my iPhone I also love being able to pimp the outisde. I’ve gone through a fair few since I bought my first iPhone in 2007, although always stuck with either Cath Kidston or recently, Orla Kiely, covers. Remember the luscious lacquered shell which didn’t last long as I upgraded and it didn’t fit the later iPhone model. Or the less successful oilcloth cover which I used for a matter of hours before I got fed up of having to pull a chord to access my phone. How about the lovely London cover? I used this…

    EVOKE Mio by Orla Kiely

Ooooh, a lovely new product from Orla Kiely! Fortunately I CAN resist this beautiful new EVOKE Mio by Orla Kiely because I already have a lovely Cath Kidston digital radio. However, loyal readers will know that I can’t pass up an opportunity to feature the latest Orla Kiely product (even if I don’t need it myself!). The radio is the latest product in the Orla Kiely home ware range and features her popular stem print design. It has a scary number of features which include digital and FM radio, an input for your iPod/MP3 player, Intellitext and textSCAN, an…

    Changing bags

Whilst pregnant I could not decide on a changing bag. I knew I needed one but I couldn’t find one I really liked or justify an Orla Kiely bag. I knew any bag would need to be spacious. I am a hoarder and on a good day I have carried nappies, wipes, nappy bags, bottles a formula dispenser, dummies toys, muslins, a spare change of clothes and bibs. I’ve also needed space for my things (oyster card, mobile, money and tissues). Don’t even ask me what I take out on a bad day… First I bought a gorgeous Cath Kidston…
