    Playmobil Emergency Medical Helicopter review

    As Playmobil Playologists we were excited to receive some toys from the PLAYMOBIL Hospital range to review. Playmobil is a top manufacturer within preschool toys and my children get hours of enjoyment from their Playmobil collection. My children like the City Life range. You may remember last year we reviewed the Sunshine Playschool which is part of the range. Needless to say our new additions go really well with this toy. Playmobil City Life – Emergency Medical Helicopter (6686) My son loves playing with vehicles and was happy to see the Children’s Hospital Emergency Medical Helicopter. He insisted on building…

    Disney Princess Ariel Styling Head

    A few weeks ago we reviewed the Poppy Styling Station which means my 4 year old has been ‘experimenting’ with hair styles. She’s a bit of a tomboy so I was hoping she would enjoy the Disney Princess Ariel Styling Head from Just Play. My kids love bath time. Any excuse to play in or with water is their perfect activity. They also love any toys which they can take in the bath and extend their time in it. Disney Princess Ariel Styling Head Every little girl knows Ariel from Disney’s The Little Mermaid film. Based on the Danish fairy…

    Play-Doh Imaginarium at the Science Museum

    Yesterday we visited the Science Museum to experience the extraordinary at the Play-Doh Imaginarium. To celebrate its 60th birthday, Play-Doh launched an exclusive free event at the Science Museum combining tech and creative play. Fronted by ex-Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis, the Play-Doh Imaginarium is a unique experience for kids combining the worlds of tech and creativity. It features workshops from leading experts, including Play-Doh sculpture artist Eleanor Macnair, and the team behind Tech Will Save Us. It is taking place this weekend and we were fortunate to attend the first workshop of the weekend with Eleanor Macnair. Our workshop…

    Furby Connect and the Furby Connect World app

    I first laid eyes on the Furby Connect back at the Argos Christmas in July event earlier in the summer. I knew it would be appealing to my children so was delighted to be offered one to review. Furbys have been around for a while. They are already instantly recognisable to my children as a small version were included with McDonalds Happy Meals a while back and they will be appearing again soon. Just in case you don’t know, a Furby is a cute little robotic creature you can interact with. Furby Connect from Hasbro is the most recent reincarnation…

    Pampers UNICEF partner to eliminate tetanus {#1photo1vaccine}

    Today I have a lovely way for parents and carers to help support the work of Pampers and UNICEF who are protecting the world’s amazing babies against newborn tetanus. Did you know – babies can help save lives by doing nothing more than wearing Pampers. Because Pampers donates 1 vaccine against maternal and newborn tetanus for every pack of Pampers nappies and wipes sold through the “1 Pack = 1 Vaccine” Pampers-UNICEF campaign. This means that anyone can get involved as even if your child is out of the nappy stage I don’t know a parent who doesn’t still carry…

    The Edition, Autumn Winter Issue at Café Rouge

    We’re a family that enjoys eating out. My lovely new kitchen is not quite finished so when we were invited to sample the new menu at our local Café Rouge I jumped at the chance. It’s been a while since we last visited our local Café Rouge. It’s housed in a gorgeous old building on the High Street and we usually go when we want a grown up lunch date. However the invitation was for the whole family so off we went. My children were more than happy with the Children’s Menu which was a fixed price of £6.95 for…

    Barton Farm Country Park

    Just to prove that we don’t sit indoors and spend all our time crafting a few weeks ago we spent the morning at Barton Farm Country Park near the pretty town of Bradford-on-Avon. Every time we visit we find something new and this time was no exception. When we arrived we headed straight for the ancient tithe barn. The weather was threatening to rain and we knew we could hide away inside if necessary. It’s a spectacular 14th century monastic stone barn, 51 metres long, with an amazing timber cruck roof. The tithe barn is part of a complex of…

    Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll {Twist Tress ‘N’ Braid}

    My little 4 year old is adjusting really well to her new school routine. She is completely knackered after school, which isn’t surprising, but we’ve been keeping busy with nice and simple activities. She loves playing with play dough which is perfect for developing her fine motor skills. Recently our play dough has taken a sparkly turn thanks to the Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll. Lalaloopsy have just launched their new Autumn/Winter range which includes the Potty Surprise doll, Princess Style N Swap range and Glitter Hair Dough Doll. We were sent the Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll to review.…
