Ok, so I had to visit three Tesco stores but I finally got my hands on an Orla Kiely Scribble Pear design reuseable shopping bag. I mentioned back in November that Orla Kiely has designed a range of bags exclusively for Tesco. They are made of juco (a material technology that combines jute with cotton). The bag is lovely and strong and cost £4. The Scribble Pear design is the first in the range. For each bag sold a contribution of 50p of the sale price of each bag will be divided equally and paid to CLIC Sargent Cancer Care…

Orla Kiely, has created an exclusive range of reusable shopping bags to raise funds for charity. The limited edition, collectable bags will launch exclusively through Tesco this December. CLIC Sargent is Tesco Charity of the Year 2010 and the aim of the partnership is to raise £5 million to help fund specialist children’s nurses across the UK, so children with cancer can spend more time at home. The Orla Kiely bags will retail at only £4, with fifty pence from each sale divided equally between CLIC Sargent and Orla’s personal charity. I can’t wait to get my hands on a special…

Ooooh, a lovely new product from Orla Kiely! Fortunately I CAN resist this beautiful new EVOKE Mio by Orla Kiely because I already have a lovely Cath Kidston digital radio. However, loyal readers will know that I can’t pass up an opportunity to feature the latest Orla Kiely product (even if I don’t need it myself!). The radio is the latest product in the Orla Kiely home ware range and features her popular stem print design. It has a scary number of features which include digital and FM radio, an input for your iPod/MP3 player, Intellitext and textSCAN, an…

I’m a hoarder and I’m not afraid to admit it! This is why my job as a curator is perfect as it allows me to collect, catalogue and keep for ever! I’ve always kept momentoes of events – I have boxes full of ticket stubs as well as photographs, programmes and keepsakes. When we got married two years ago I squirreled away a selection of items to remind me of our wedding day – a programme, an invite, some wedding cake, a thank you card, as well as our official wedding album and guest book. I knew I wanted to…

Whilst pregnant I could not decide on a changing bag. I knew I needed one but I couldn’t find one I really liked or justify an Orla Kiely bag. I knew any bag would need to be spacious. I am a hoarder and on a good day I have carried nappies, wipes, nappy bags, bottles a formula dispenser, dummies toys, muslins, a spare change of clothes and bibs. I’ve also needed space for my things (oyster card, mobile, money and tissues). Don’t even ask me what I take out on a bad day… First I bought a gorgeous Cath Kidston…

Today we had a rare trip into the West End. We took the little one on his first trip to the British Museum followed by his first trips to Cath Kidston and Orla Kiely – my two favourite shops! I have a real passion for Orla Kiely. I drink out of Orla Kiely mugs, I sleep amongst Orla Kiely sheets, I use Orla Kiely handbags, and travel with my Orla Kiely suitcase, wash bag and make up bags! There’s only been one occasion when I rocked up at a hotel and realised I had a number of clashing Orla Kiely…

My hubby treated me to a lovely new Orla Kiely bag so I chose the punched stem rosemary bag. Today I sneaked out of the house and headed to Covent Garden to buy it (and the matching purse too!). Image taken from Orla Kiely website. No visit to Covent Garden is complete without a visit to Cath Kidston where I purchased some lovely goodies for our holiday to Cornwall. I even managed some celeb spotting, Louie Spence from Pineapple Dance Studio, before heading back to my lovely little boy!

Look at this beauty! A changing bag from my favourite handbag designer Orla Kiely. I saw it in John Lewis a couple of weeks ago and promised myself I would treat myself to it. But now the time has come to buy the last few bits and pieces I just can’t bring myself to pay the hefty price tag. Yesterday I googled changing bags and read some reviews. It seems a bucket may be more useful than a beautifully crafted bag with inner pockets, mobile pocket and key chain. Today I also realised something I had been trying to ignore.…

This evening I’ve come across a lovely bloggy giveaway at one of my favourite blogs, the lovely dottie angel. Have you seen the new range Orla Kiely has designed for Target? It includes canisters, trays, plates, bowls, mugs, tumblers and tea towels, in a range of patterns including my very favourite pears print. How I wish someone would commission her to do a product range for a British store. Some of the items are currently for sale on ebay but the prices are out of my price range. Thank goodness for the chance to win some items.
