Last month saw me treat myself with 3 subscription boxes, a little like early Christmas presents to myself. You can see my reviews of the Lucky Dip Club Box and Embellish Box. I came across the Hygge in a Box from the Original Hygge Box Company and decided to try one out too. Have you heard of the Danish concept of hygge, pronounced hoo-ga? There is no direct translation but it is often taken to mean cosiness through the winter months. Over the past few years it’s been adapted by us Brits, and why not? Our winter months can often…

Winter has at last arrived and when I ventured out today I was well and truly buffeted by Storm Barney. I admit to having a small obsession with the weather and the Shipping Forecast and love to make my home cosy and warm at this time of year. I’ve written a little about taking more care of myself this year. I’ve joined a choir so I can indulge one of my passions, I love my adult colouring books and am working my way through every gingerbread recipe book I own, all in the pursuit of create hygge in the home.…

I found the site easy to use and I liked the way they kept me up to date with the delivery of my box. The idea…

You know how I love my subscription boxes and today another one landed on my doorstep. I love stationery so bought myself the October taster box from the Happy Paper Club from the green gables. Happy Paper Club is a monthly stationery subscription service that delivers boxes filled with papery goodness, happy and inspirational messages, and more to boost your happiness and spread a little joy. You can never have enough happy mail and I can’t wait to get a job so I can afford to receive regular subscription boxes! As with other subscription boxes, my Happy Paper Club box…
