    A space to work

    Half term has been hard work. Although my children needed a break from 6 weeks of school work, it’s been super tough not having much to do. We made plans and lists of things we wanted to do but these have been broken up by meal times and dog walks – not our usual half term days out and trips away. I’m hoping that this will be our last half term stuck at home. We’re lucky to have a lovely home but nothing beats a day out at a new place, seeing family and friends. We have dug very deep…

    Gingerbread house finds: vintage board games

    I’ve been obsessed with vintage board games for a while now. Part of it is trying to re-create the games my grandparents kept in their wardrobe which we were allowed to play with when we visited. They had a great collection which included Tell Me, a metal wind up car racing game made in East Germany, a magnetic fishing and more, all stored in a green enamel bread bin.
