Today I undertook my first toy drop through The Toy Society. If you’ve never heard of them before The Toy Society is a world-wide collective of toy makers – of varying skill levels– who make toys and leave them as gifts for perfect strangers. Ages ago I came across a cute tutorial to make these elf clogs and it has taken my years to actually make them. However this weekend we were off to visit an aunt and I always make her something for Christmas. So I thought it was time I tackled this little project. Then I was having so much fun I made a couple of them, stuffed them with chocolate and hand delivered them to my aunt. I hope she likes them 🙂

I made these adorable reindeer from a kit bought from Sarah at Paper and String. There were so simple to make and will look great on the Christmas tree – as long as I can keep the kittens away from them!

With all the excitement over Christmas I completely forgot to post about my new Blythe doll. After much careful web research I decided to take a day off from work and go to Brighton to purchase my Blythe. Very few shops sell them in the UK but I managed to buy a mini Blythe in Forbidden Planet, London, in 2006. Nasty Nip in Brighton stock a couple of different Blythe dolls and I wanted to see them before I decided which one to buy.
