Today we’re taking part in the A-Z Play at Home blog hop organised by Teach Me Mommy. This weeks letter is D! The idea of the series is to use everyday items for play or learning activities. We have a huge stash of Duck Tape or Duct Tape. It has so many use around the home but we really love to use ours for crafting! My husband and I have been fighting over the latest Duck Tape. We both love Duck Tape and he often ‘borrows’ mine when he needs it for a DIY project around the house. When he saw the latest Duck Tape Chalkboard tape, from leading stationery brand Duck Tape, he immediately wanted it for himself! I’ve been trying to use it for my own purposes before it disappears into his man-cave, never to be seen again. Luckily it has so many uses that I don’t think there will be much left. The Chalkboard tape can help turn almost any hard surface…

I really should be kept away from my local craft store as I couldn’t resist picking up a roll of Finding Dory Duck Tape. I love Duck Tape and the patterned ones are appealing to both me and my children. Have you seen Finding Dory yet? We’ve seen it twice already, I just can’t resist Hank! With a few weeks until the children go back to school we’ve been making some back to school crafts with the Finding Dory Duck Tape. Duck Tape is versatile so we used it to make wristlet keyrings, perfect for identifying book bags, lunch bags…

Very early this morning I opened our cabin curtains to see we had docked back at Southampton. After a few days away on Ventura I was pretty glad to be back on firm ground. Just a few days before I had whipped up some colourful Duck Tape passport covers for the family. Duck Tape passport cover tutorial I love crafting with Duck Tape and have a pretty good selection of prints and patterns. This is a bit of a stash buster craft which I was shamed into doing when my 6 year old counted how many rolls of Duck Tape…

I can’t resist a shiny new roll of Duck Tape. A trip to my local craft store is always dangerous as I can’t help but see if there are any new colours or patterns. On my last visit I picked up a roll of pink Unicorn Dream Duck Tape. I didn’t have a plan for it but my 4 year old loves unicorns so I bought it for a rainy day. Yesterday was a rainy day! I am on a major decluttering drive at the moment and came across a clear pencil case and large notebook. I knew these would be…

I’m a huge fan of crafting with Duck Tape. It’s strong, colourful and good value. My local Hobbycraft always has an eye catching display and a few weeks ago we spotted they had Star Wars Duck Tape! My 5 year old is obsessed with Star Wars so we bought some to craft with. He made me a picture frame with it so I thought it was about time I made him a little gift. Whilst he was at school I made him a Star Wars Duck Tape wallet to keep all his Star Wars cards safe. This took 10 minutes…

I have the sweetest little DIY to share with you today. I love to keep an eye on the latest trends and couldn’t resist popping a couple of rolls of Duck Tape into my basket at the weekend. I love Duck Tape and they are always bringing out seasonal colours and patterns which I can’t resist. Their latest range is perfect for Spring with a range of pretty pastel colours including rolls of Marshmallow, Lilac Lily and Sage & Thyme. I feel that Spring is on its way and have been enjoying watching my pretty hyacinths grow. It came in…

Regular readers will know I enjoy crafting with Duck Tape. It’s a really versatile material to craft with and late last year I discovered Duck Glitter crafting tape, which is Duck Tape with a glitter effect which doesn’t come off. There are a variety of colours and perfect for winter crafts! I decided to make some decorations and my Duck glitter crafting tape balls were born! This is a simple craft project and I used Duck Glitter crafting tape, polystyrene balls and scissors. I decided to cover each ball in one colour and cut the Duck Glitter tape into small pieces,…

It’s beautifully sunny here today, fingers crossed it lasts. Time for my weekly Monday happy things post: My son went back to school after the school holidays. We had an amazing few weeks but he was happy to see his friends and his new teachers. My 3 year old and I have been a little subdued without him. Over the summer I took part in a Summer Postcard Club organised by Marceline at Asking for Trouble. I sent 5 postcards and received 5 postcards, and it was lovely to receive some happy mail. The sun shone on Sunday for what…
