My children adore the adventures of Woolly and Tig and as well as watching them on CBeebies, we have read many of the books which are great for having discussions about the new experiences they face such as going to the dentist or making new friends. Today I have a lovely giveaway for my readers as I have two great Woolly and Tig sticker books up for grabs! Three-year old Tig is exploring the world with her cuddly toy spider Woolly. From building sandcastles to Tig’s first day at nursery school, there’s so much to look at and learn about.…

To celebrate my love of sewing and craft I’m joining in with Giveaway Day at Sew Mama Sew. Like many areas in my life I always have a couple of projects on the go. At the moment I’m working on a ticker tape doll quilt, a Union Flag cot quilt, Wild Olive’s Spring Stitching Club quilt and trying out a project from Little Quilts by Sarah Fielke and Amy Lobsiger which I was sent to review. I forgot, I’m also supposed to be making my 4 year old a ladybird costume for nursery! Sewing has always been one of my…

I love how creative my children are with their Lego Duplo. It really inspires and challenges them. Today they got out the Lego table (which we made from an old Ikea table) and the children let their imaginations flow. My 4 year old loves the Disney Cars films so made a very elaborate garage for his Lego Duplo Lightning McQueen. He’s amassed quite a few different sets so was able to build walls, floors, lifts, and include petrol pumps, a post office and much much more! Dusty Crophopper ended up parking on the roof – I love it when my…

I was recently sent a box of products from Lindam, the UK’s number one safety brand, who are celebrating making homes safer for babies and toddlers for over 25 years. Over the last couple of years we’ve used many of their products from safety gates to monitors, bouncers and bed rails. I can’t wait to try out some of the products we were sent, the Backseat and Pushchair Organiser is just what I need in the car right now! One of the products was a very funky Light My Way Night Light and as my children already have their own…

Over the last few weeks I’ve been working with Lego Duplo on their latest campaign called How Do You Play, which runs for the next couple of weeks on Lego Duplo’s Facebook page. It’s really easy and fun to enter. Simply let your children get creative with their Lego Duplo, capture their play in a short film and upload it through the How Do You Play app on the Lego Duplo Facebook page. Each week people can vote for their favourite videos and weekly prizes are awarded to the top three video participants and three voters who are chosen at random.…

Today I wanted to share an inspiring story of mental and physical endurance with you. Childhood friends Luke and Jamie recently rowed 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean and raised £300,000 for Breast Cancer Care, the single biggest donation that the charity has ever received. During their 54-day adventure Luke and Jamie, both only 21, showed an extraordinary commitment to never giving up. They met sharks, crossed 40ft waves, and narrowly avoided being crushed by a container ship. They even earned themselves a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest pair ever to row the Atlantic!…
