My changing bag isn’t working for me

My changing bag isn’t working for me. Not when I need another couple of bags to simply leave the house. Today we decided to go on a family shopping trip to Westfield Stratford, the super duper new shopping centre next to the Olympic site. I’m gradually getting used to getting us all out of the door but find I take a silly amount of ‘stuff’ with us. First up there’s my faithful old Orla Kiely changing bag, stuffed full of old receipts, my wallet, phone, packs of tissues and broken pencils. The only useful thing it actually contains are numerous…

Pink Lining Mum on The Run pouch

I have a bit of a thing about changing bags. It might be something to do with having a boy but I feel a changing bag can brighten up our day as the buggy is black and let’s face it, my son doesn’t do pink. Pink Lining asked me if I would be interested in reviewing their latest product – the mum on the run pouch. Pink Lining Mum on The Run pouch The pouch arrived in a lovely Pink Lining branded box and wrapped in pink tissue paper. I love the fact that although it’s a practical item a…

    Baby and All Bag

An essential product as a new parent is a changing bag that fits everything you need to make life out and about that bit easier. I’ve gone through a few changing bags since Edward came along and they’ve all offered something a bit different. However, a new changing bag has been introduced which carries all your essentials and your baby too! I’ve been using the bag and it has plenty of room and pockets for nappies, wipes, a bottle, snacks and all the little things you need. The bag can also be used as a carrier and worn in three…

    Wrap and go

Tommee Tippee have launched a new product which aims to make the life of a nappy changing mum easier and more hygienic. I was excited to trial the new product which recently landed on my door mat. With an average of  5,000 nappy changes to do between birth and potty training, ensuring germs and smells are safely locked away is a must for parents.  At home we have a nappy bin which is great but what do you do when you’re out and about? Tommee tippee have launched the new Sangenic Wrap & Go which is designed to provide a…

    Changing bags

Whilst pregnant I could not decide on a changing bag. I knew I needed one but I couldn’t find one I really liked or justify an Orla Kiely bag. I knew any bag would need to be spacious. I am a hoarder and on a good day I have carried nappies, wipes, nappy bags, bottles a formula dispenser, dummies toys, muslins, a spare change of clothes and bibs. I’ve also needed space for my things (oyster card, mobile, money and tissues). Don’t even ask me what I take out on a bad day… First I bought a gorgeous Cath Kidston…

    Orla Kiely changing bag

Look at this beauty! A changing bag from my favourite handbag designer Orla Kiely. I saw it in John Lewis a couple of weeks ago and promised myself I would treat myself to it. But now the time has come to buy the last few bits and pieces I just can’t bring myself to pay the hefty price tag. Yesterday I googled changing bags and read some reviews. It seems a bucket may be more useful than a beautifully crafted bag with inner pockets, mobile pocket and key chain. Today I also realised something I had been trying to ignore.…
