To celebrate my love of sewing and craft I’m joining in with Giveaway Day at Sew Mama Sew. Like many areas in my life I always have a couple of projects on the go. At the moment I’m working on a ticker tape doll quilt, a Union Flag cot quilt, Wild Olive’s Spring Stitching Club quilt and trying out a project from Little Quilts by Sarah Fielke and Amy Lobsiger which I was sent to review. I forgot, I’m also supposed to be making my 4 year old a ladybird costume for nursery!
Sewing has always been one of my hobbies and I really hope my children will take an interest so we can do even more creating together. In honour of Sew Mama Sew’s Givieaway Day I am delighted to have a lovely craft kit to giveaway to one lucky reader.
The Sweet Cottage Tea Cosy Kit from the Sew & So On range by docrafts contains everything needed to make a beautiful tea cosy, the finished size is 25 x 34cm. The kit contains the base fabric pieces, applique fabric pieces, lining fabric pieces, pom pom trim, buttons and thread. The instructions are printed on the back of the kit.

I’m hand quilting a king-size quilt that was made by my husband’s great-aunt. It was passed down to me, since I’m the only quilter in the family. She started the hand quilting but wasn’t able to finish it before she died. It is huge and I don’t know how long it will take me to finish it!
I am currently working on my mend pile because I haven’t picked out my next big project.
At the moment, I’m working on several things – a set of bean bags for my nephew, I’m hooking a rug (that will end up a pillow) for my daughter, and a couple of quilts for both my girls. And then there’s the giant pile of UFOs I need to work on. 😉
