I’m so happy to share with you today our review of one of the toys from the new Playmobil Ghostbusters range! Yes, we’re still Playmobil Playologists too which means we’re working with Playmobil, a top manufacturer within preschool toys, to share their latest products with you.
I mentioned last year that this is Playmobil’s first entertainment brand license and they have been working together with Sony to bring these fantastic sets to life. It’s a brand collaboration we couldn’t be happier about as we love the Ghostbusters franchise. I really enjoyed the films when I was growing up. In fact the Ghostbusters theme was the first I remember making up dances to with my best friend. Thank goodness YouTube wasn’t around when I was young!
When we heard we would be one of the first families to see the new range my children went a little crazy as they couldn’t wait to see the sets. I secretly hoped for Ecto-1 and guess what? That’s what we received!
Playmobil Ghostbusters Ecto-1 unboxing
My children couldn’t wait to make a video of them opening their surprise Playmobil parcel so please take a look to find out more about the new Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (9220) from Playmobil.
Ecto-1 is of course the iconic vehicle from Ghostbusters. This is an all action vehicle with light and the original siren sound (batteries required). The playset includes Ghostbusters Winston Zeddemore and Janine Melnitz in their Ghostbuster outfits along with a lot of equipment.
We enjoyed putting it together and it even came with pieces of slime which are great for play. My children have been throwing them onto windows for lots of imaginative play.
The Playmobil Ghostbusters range is really fun and includes the Ghostbusters Firehouse, Slimer with Hot Dog Stand, Venkman and Terror Dogs, Spengler and Ghost as well as Stay Put and Marshmallow Man. You can see the full range here: http://www.playmobil.co.uk/
