Pirating advice (So You Want to be a Pirate? review)

I’m so pleased the toddler is beginning to like things other than Thomas. I was scared for my sanity but lately we’ve been enjoying episodes of all kinds of things and he was happy to watch So You Want to be a Pirate? the latest offering from Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation.

So You Want to be a Pirate?

Need to remember where you buried your treasure? Want to learn the secrets of navigating winds or learn how to cook  delicious giant squid with lemon?

This is non-stop family fun! Featuring the voices of Hugh Grant, Martin Freeman, David Tenant and Brendan Gleeson, it’s a great introduction for would-be Pirates!  Watch as the Pirate Captain, and his trusty sidekick dodo Polly, tells you all you need to know about being a Pirate.

Released on DVD Exclusively with Tesco stores this short stop-motion animation will get you in the mood for the release of The Pirates! in an Adventure with the Scientists on September 10. The DVD also includes extras – including How To Animate Your Pirate, How To Draw A Pirate, How To Talk Like a Pirate and Printable Colouring Pages. The DVD runs for 17 minutes and has a RRP £5.00.
