    It’s been so dreary lately that we wanted to make something colourful today. My 3 year old has wanted to make sun catchers for a while so today we made some daffodil ones using ready cut frames and cellophane squares. I cut the cellophane squares into smaller pieces, placed the frame on a piece of contact paper and set everything out for my daughter. She had fun enjoying what colours to put where.     I mentioned the other day how I really want to try some dress making. I have started with some simple steps in customising clothing – baby steps first! What would an English Paper Piecing obsessed mother make for her daughter? Yes, EPP hearts for Valentine’s Day. Simple Liberty heart-shaped patch I found a super sweet tutorial from Wild Olive for simple heart-themed English paper piecing. Baste two jewel shapes, then stitch them together to form a heart.
