    We’ve carved our pumpkins but they’re already beginning to look a little rough around the edges. This year my 5 year old made a little instruction booklet for my husband, each page has a different step in how to carve a pumpkin, which we both thought was very sweet.     Our half term started with a visit from my lovely Father in Law. It was great to see him and the children loved having him around but to me visitors = cleaning. I’m no domestic goddess at the best of times but visits from family require a deeper clean than I usually do. His arrival coincided with the children finishing school.
