    Schleich Marvel Thor figurine review

    We love the toy brand Schleich. Regular readers will know this as they feature quite often here on our blog. Schleich make the most beautiful, realistic, hand-painted figure which my children love to collect and play with. A few weeks ago we were sent the new Marvel Thor figurine from Schleich to review. One of the latest superheroes to join the Schleich collection is the mighty Thor! This new figurine looks exactly like the character in the up and coming Thor: Ragnarok film. This is part of their Marvel range which includes such as Spider-man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Dr…

    Win a teapigs last days of summer prize

    My children were both happy to go back to school today. Yesterday there were a few nerves but today they were both happy and relaxed, and there were no tears from me either! Although they are back at school I’m hoping we’ll have a warm September. I’m not quite ready to pack away all our Summer clothes. Over the summer I made quite a few iced teas. I find them lovely and refreshing and my children do too. They make a great alternative to fizzy drinks and you can make a batch and keep it in the fridge to last…

    Monday happy things {Week 153}

    It’s feels like I’ve had a bit of a blogging break. You may not have noticed but I’ve not been posting as much or sharing on my social channels. I’ve enjoyed some quiet time and indulged my hobbies for once. It’s time for my weekly Monday happy things post – my Summer holidays edition (week 6). We started the week away thanks to a long weekend in Devon. We had amazing weather so it was perfect to be at the beach for once and not in London. The kids swam in Grandad’s pool and we went to the beach and…

    10 Back to School traditions {to start now!}

    Is it just me or is there a lot to buy in order to get everyone back to school in September? The school uniform, shoes and stationery is bought so my thoughts have been turning to how to commemorate the first day back at school. When my children started school we started our own traditions. In previous years I’ve taken lots of photos of my children looking all sparkly and clean. Last year we used our lightbox to record the date too. There are lots of ways to commemorate the first day of term. Here are 10 back to school…

    Duck Tape watermelon school supplies

    I love crafting with Duck Tape and the transition to back to school seems like a pretty good time to have some fun with Duck Tape. We have a huge stash so I was just able to raid my supplies for this quick and easy DIY. Both my kids are crazy about watermelons at the moment, they would eat them all the time if they could. My youngest enjoyed making a paper plate watermelon so this time I whipped up some school supplies for my eldest. He’s starting a new school on Tuesday so I thought he would enjoy a…
