New Mum Essentials for 2020

Posted on January 24, 2020 by jenny

Disclosure – this is a guest post from KiddiesKingdom

Welcome to parenthood, this is a time filled with so many emotions. When having or expecting a new little member in your life, it can often feel very overwhelming – you’ll be filled with happiness and joy along with the rush of love that you’ve never felt before. Throughout your pregnancy, you’ll want to start getting organised and getting prepared for after the birth so you can be set for any situation at any time. Therefore, I’ve put together five crucial new mum essentials to keep you on top of your game in the first few months.

New Mum Essentials for 2020

Changing Mat
This is an absolute must have. This beloved changing mat will give you the freedom to enjoy days out with your new arrival. Leaving you with the flexibility to change nappies wherever there is a suitable flat surface (there will be no need to worry about where the nearest baby changing toilets are). This changing mat has you perfectly equipped with your very own portable changing station.

Bathtub
You will certainly need to get your hands on one of these. Bathe your baby safely and comfortably with help of a bathtub. Not only this, but with the added support it allows for perfect one to one time between you and your baby by playing and letting them splash around.

Moses Basket
In the first couple of months you will want to create a safe, cosy, and comfortable space for baby although they will be sleeping for most of this time, it is still vital to create the right environment for their development. Moses Baskets are designed specifically for new-borns and are guaranteed to provide a reassuring confined space for him/her.

Moby Evolution Wrap-Black
This is perfect way of making a strong bond with your baby. Offering an easy-to-use, hands-free alternative allowing you to get on with the list of jobs for the day, super comfortable design that evenly distributes your baby’s weight across the back, allowing you to be as comfy as possible. It’s made from soft, breathable material and comes in lots of different prints, also most come in one size so even Dad can’t get away from the duties.

Miniland Warmy Travel Bottle Warmer-Aqua
This is an amazing gift for an on-the-go mum. Plug it into an in-car charging point and it will heat any baby bottles, jars or pouches in just 40-45 minutes. It comes with waterproof casing and its own switch-off system to prevent any overheating.

That bathtub is absolutely stunning – I am currently pregnant and have popped it on to my baby shower wishlist.

I don’t have children but I always find it mind-boggling how much stuff there is out there. I just wonder how much people buy and then never actually use because they didnt need it x
