Last year The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep became a ground-breaking best-seller – and a bedtime saviour – as parents across the globe extolled the success of the book in helping their children to fall asleep at night. Through the story, children join Ellen the Elephant as she travels through a magical forest that leads to dreamland. Along the way, she meets different sleepy characters and has soothing experiences that are intended to help children relax and fall asleep quickly.
I’ve been reading the book with my own little sleep monster and have been getting positive results. My 4 year old can be quite hyper at bedtime and I find reading this book really helps her calm down and get in a positive mood for sleeping. The book includes tips on how to get the most from the book and answers to frequently asked questions, giving parents the tools to feel confident in creating a calm, soothing bedtime routine that doesn’t take all evening!
