I’ve developed a serious addiction to subscription boxes recently. I love anything cute, kawaii or which introduces me to new designers and makers. I’ve been following the Lucky Dip Club box for a while and decided to treat myself to the July box. The subscription rates seem pretty reasonable and I’m *just* about coping with the school holidays.
Anyway, my Lucky Dip Club box arrived and I kept it unopened for a few days. I was waiting for a few minutes to myself but I’d forgotten that time is even more precious when your routine goes out of the window during holidays. Last week I opened it up to see what I had received.
The Lucky Dip Club subscription box is a subscription box for lovers of handmade, personalised presents and surprises in the post. Each box has a theme and items could include handmade jewellery, homewares, fun stationery, pretty paper goods and easy DIY craft kits. The best part about a Lucky Dip Club box is that one item will be personalised especially for you – this makes it a fun and unique subscription box.
My Under The Sea box, for lovers of pastel, mermaids & nautical fun, contained a DIY craft kit to make an amigurumi jellyfish.
There was the fifth charm of the month design, a personalised shell necklace and sea horse acrylic brooch.
There was also issue 7 of the Lucky Dip Club zine
The box is packed full of cute and colourful items. Notebooks are always useful and I love the personalised necklace. I have to be honest and say my heart sank a little when I saw the amigurumi kit.
I can’t knit, crochet or do amigurumi so I feel this is one big item I can’t use and I don’t know anyone I can give it to. I also feel like this when Mollie Makes includes a crochet kit so I think I’ll have to find someone to teach me how to do it 🙂

February 6, 2016 at 3:39 pmI really love DIY personalized presents since I always want to give someone something that is very unique and not something that they have received before. I really love the styling and creativity that has been brought though these stationery. Thanks a lot for sharing, I think I am going to give the subscription box a shot.
