Today I was actually cold!
As much as I love Autumn, and it’s pretty much my favourite month, I wasn’t quite as prepared for the change in temperature that we experienced today. It’s been damp, cold and windy and I didn’t like it.
This evening we put the heating on and I finally felt warm.I love cosy evenings in but did you know that artificial heat and lack of sunlight affects your hair? Hair responds to sunlight, just as plants do. Our hair loves the warmer months of Spring and Summer but everything changes come Autumn.

5 hair care tips for Autumn
Every Autumn I notice my hair falling out and becoming thinner. It’s never been the same since I had my children but I am really loathe to lose any hair at my age. This is completely natural and although I’ve been researching what FUE hair transplant cost, there are a few things you can do to ease seasonal hair loss:
Eat and drink well, bonus points for eating foods which are in season right now
Invest in the right products which add moisture to your hair such as a good moisturising shampoo and conditioner
Massage your scalp daily to stimulate your sebaceous oil glands and increase blood circulation to the scalp
Keep your hair trimmed regularly to get rid of split ends
Limit the use of artificial heating products, think hair dryers and tongs, which will dry out your hair. Use sparingly and with heat protect sprays
Have you ever experienced losing hair at this time of year? Please tell me I’m not the only one this happens to!
