Go Karting at Teamsport High Wycombe

If you are looking for a wet weather activity for teens then I would recommend indoor go karting. My teens love go karting and we thought we would try the new track at Teamsport High Wycombe. This wasn’t the easiest venue to find inside the Eden Centre, but once we had walked around the shopping centre for a while we found it and booked in.

We’ve been indoor and outdoor go karting quite a few times, most recently to the Teamsport track at Watford. The High Wycombe venue feels similar, we were given overalls and tried to find somewhere to change. The venue felt short staffed and we were not sure where to go. Eventually we found someone so we got changed and headed to the safety briefing.

After the safety briefing it was time to get our helmets on and find our go karts.

Then we were off.

The 425m track felt similar to the one at Watford. It’s on two levels with plenty of opportunities to put your foot down. There were some really fast people in our group so I got bumped round quite a bit.

The eco electric karts have a maximum speed of 40mph and the average lap time is 50seconds. We paid for two 15 minute sessions so after the first session we headed upstairs to check our times and have a break before the second session. The teens love go karting, me not so much, but it’s a fun activity we can do together.

We ended our trip to TeamSport with an e-darts session which was a bit of extra fun.
