Giveaway Day is here!

Ok, I’m a day late due to lack of internet but I really wanted to participate in the Sew, Mama, Sew! Giveaway Day! Giveaway Day is their huge biannual event where everyone with a blog can give something away. Don’t forget to check out the Sew, Mama, Sew! blog for all the other giveaways.

This year I have some lovely Sewing + Craft Supplies which I bought at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Ally Pally to give away and I’m happy to ship internationally. The fabric includes:

  6. My next sewing project…. Kitchen Curtains! We’ve been in our house over 6 years….and well this project is long overdue! 🙂

  7. My first grandchild is coming in January! I am working on his first quilt now, and will start his second one in 2013. So exciting!! My daughter chose the fabric for the first one, and the second one is a quilt of the Japanese alphabet since he will be 1/4 Japanese.

  8. I think I’m going to make a pile of felt ornaments. I’ll probably have to get a second tree for all of them!

  11. Oh my goodness – I have a few projects on my sewing table right now….a small frame purse (never made one!), making a sewing organizer/pin cushion thingy for the table, two Christmas stockings, a Christmas table runner, a shower curtain…..too much!

  12. I’m working on a nightgown for myself…we’ll be moving soon so my next project probably won’t happen until we are in our new house and will probably be curtains or some kind of decoration. So exciting!

  22. My hubby is the upholstery pro. I am only good for helping her remove staples. While we do have an industrial sewing machine to get the thick stuff, it really is not on my radar at the moment. Right now, things that sparkle are.

    Actually, I got sidetracked on a watercolors project because it is raining today.

    I would love to be a fashion designer but I have a fulltime job and kids. All I can do is dream and dabble.

  25. Thank you for a lovely giveaway. I have just made a doll size quilt for my niece and she loves it taking it everywhere with her, so my next project will be to make her a quilt of her own that is much bigger than her dolly one.

  29. I am going to make a zip pouch for my niece so I can tuck some money in it for Christmas. She’s a teenager and wants shoes so I know I am unqualified to shop!

  30. I’ve been working for over a month on quilts for those affected by Hurricane Sandy, and I think that’s probably what most if not all of my sewing will be for the coming month as well.

  31. I have a big ‘want to make’ list – with most of my ideas coming from lovely things on Pinterest. After my Christmas sewing, and the various blocks I have to do for bees – I would really like to make myself a scrappy mat to go under m sewing machine with a pin cushion, a place to hold my scissors, a few pockets and a fluff bin!
