Eau Thermale Avène review and giveaway

Eau Thermale Avène is a unique French skincare brand dedicated to each level of skin sensitivity; from sensitive, intolerant to allergic.  Each product contains the Avène Thermal Spring Water, a unique ingredient whose properties have been endorsed by dermatologists over the years.

The range includes really gentle body care products suitable for both mum and baby, and even for use on eczema-prone skin. My 8 month old has really sensitive skin so I was interested in trying out the range. We’ve been using a couple of the products over the last few weeks and found the Avène Cold Cream Cleansing Bar and the TriXera, which is an emollient cream, has left her skin lovely and soft. The Thermal Water Spray has many uses but we found it great on mild nappy rash and also on sunburn.

  1. My top tip is to use moisturiser or day cream with an SPF, even if you tan easily and even if you are young. You will be giving your skin the best long-term care there is.

  2. I always make sure I take my make up off at bedtime and I drink plenty of water during the day.

  3. I always drink water (no caffeine) and make sure I cleanse and moisturize morning and evening. Regular face masks make my skin feel lovely 🙂

  4. Always cleanse, tone and moisturise morning and night plus drink lots of water through the day

  5. moisturise morning and night and try not to wear make up everyday to let your skin breathe

  6. My top tip(s): moisturise daily, exfoliate once or twice a week (don’t overdo it or you’ll harm your skin), and remove any makeup at the end of the day. 🙂

  7. Always moisturise! You don’t have to spend hundreds of ££s on moisturiser, either. I find just a bit of Nivea, Ponds, or Simple will work brilliantly.

  8. Always sleep with your face up. If you sleep on your side, your face wrinkles and these can be permanent over time

  9. Boring, but drinking water is def the way to go!

I agree with J.mapp though too, I’m a side sleeper and I’ve noticed lines that aren’t disappearing as quickly when I wak up in the morning

  10. Drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated, and stay out of the sun, to stop it from getting dehydrated!

  11. Always remain hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and always apply sun screen when going out in good weather.

  12. I never use soap on my face as it can dry your skin and block your pours up. I always make sure i cleanse,Tone and moisturise daily 🙂 Xx

  13. My top tips for looking after your skin are use sun-cream, stay hydrated, use a good moisturiser and cleanser, eat your 5 a day and ALWAYS take your make-up off before you go to sleep!

  14. I moisturise every day with Body Shop carrot cream and make sure I remove all of my make up every night. I don’t wear heavy make up.

  15. I use a good SPF in the summer and a good moisturiser if I’m out hill walking in the winter!

  16. Don’t forget the tops of your hands when you moisturise and try to use SPF cream on your hands and on the little V that’s exposed at the neck.

  17. My top tip is to make sure you cleanse, tone and moisture your skin morning and night and you will stay young and beautiful – plenty of sleep / eating a healthy diet is definately a must too 🙂
