    Personalised chalkboard labels

I love to personalise items around the house and today I’m sharing a tutorial for these personalised chalkboard labels. We’re trying to help our children save for our next holiday by filling these glass jars with our loose change. I’m hoping that once the money has been taken out they will fill them with souvenirs from our holiday. You can find the tutorial over on the Sizzix blog. DIY flamingo drinking straws

Have you noticed the trend for flamingo decor recently? Along with monstera leaves they seem to be everywhere. So I was pretty happy to discover Sizzix had sent me their latest Funky Flamingo Thinlits die to craft with. The Funky Flamingo die by Sophie Guilar features 3 dies which means you can use a variety of papers to give it some depth. I found some pretty pink patterned papers in my stash to cut 5 flamingo shapes. You can find my full tutorial over on the Sizzix blog. Kid-friendly floral bracelet

Hi everyone, as you may remember every Friday I post a tutorial over on the Sizzix blog. If you aren’t familiar with the brand then all you need to know is that Sizzix make the best die cutting machines, die cutting tools, accessories, and embossing equipment around. I’m not a traditional paper crafter but I love how their products can be used in so many different ways. Once again floral is a big trend this Spring, so with this in mind, I’ve designed a kid-friendly floral bracelet. You can find the full tutorial over on the Sizzix blog today. I…

    Dreamcatcher luminary tutorial

Earlier this week I received a wonderful selection of new Sizzix dies to craft with. I love opening this kind of parcel as you never know what you are going to find. This time there were quite a few Thinlits dies. These are really versatile dies, chemically etched, and offer intricate designs for creative papercrafting projects. Dream Away immediately caught my eye and I know I will be using this a lot over the coming weeks and months to create some fun dream catcher projects. Today I made a little home decor project using the die and a glass jar. You can…

    DIY sandcastle flags

We’re currently away enjoying a week at the seaside and we’ve been having so much fun thinking of ways to explore and craft with our new surroundings. Our little cottage  is on the beach which makes it super quick and easy to get the children dressed and out playing on the beach every morning! We’ve been on a boat out on the water, walked along the tide lines and watched boats come and go. We’ve tried to remember how far the tide comes up and watched it disappear back down the beach again. There’s something very soothing about looking out…

    Easter treat bag tutorial

Happy Friday everyone, today I’m sharing a simple way to use your Sizzix Big Shot Plus to make an Easter treat bag. We love organising an Easter Egg Hunt. We have wooden signs to hang up and little chick decorations to place around the garden. Each child has their own colour of eggs to look for so I thought I would make them their own Easter treat bags to hold them in. I used my Sizzix Big Shot Plus and the Sizzix Bigz Alphabet Uppercase Die – Sassy Serif Letter “E” and “N”  to cut out the letters. Pop on over to the Sizzix…
