    One of the hardest things about this time of year is that our garden is so sadly neglected. Our beautiful French doors are closed and the shutters are kept closed.     It’s Monday and it’s half term which makes me very happy. This half term has felt long and I am glad the children can relax for a bit.     I’ve mentioned a few times about our lovely new kitchen. It’s dragged on a little but we’ve had a final push this weekend, painted the ceiling and walls and tiled the floor. We’ve managed to squeeze in about 90% of everything and it’s lovely. It’s easy to get used to loose cupboard doors and cluttered surfaces but I’m really enjoying my new kitchen.     Happy Monday everyone, hope you had a lovely weekend. We’ve had such a busy week with lots of things to do, especially after school.
