Although we have just returned from a week away with our 11 week old we are starting to think about the next holiday! This year we would like a couple of long weekends away to Bath/Bristol, Dublin and Bruges. Before we went away I read a great post by Tanya about holidaying with small children. We’re coming to the end of a week spent in Devon and Cornwall. It has been quite an experiencing holidaying with an 11 week old! However, we managed to have a great time and visited Lanhydrock, a monkey sanctuary and the Eden Project, not to mention the picturesque seaside villages of Looe and Polperro. Yesterday I popped into the Cath Kidston shop in Covent Garden. I’d spotted some goodies in the latest catalogue that I wanted, especially the tin of travel sweets – perfect for our long drive to Cornwall tomorrow. I also picked up laundry and shoe bags and a pillowcase featuring planes which I’m hoping to make into a laundry bag for Edward. Watch this space!

Yippee, my holiday from work has officially started, I now have 11 days until I have to get back on public transport. My holiday has grown to epic proportions in my mind for some reason.
