Newbie swap: Pick 3 items, originally uploaded by Jennifer Young. I received my first swap today – all the way from Tasmania! The package was great, lots of stickers, a cute bookmark and notepad. I’ve sent three swaps off to my partners around the world. I hope they like them.

We finally exchanged on our new house today, seemingly months after our offer being accepted, but actually it was only 75 days. To celebrate we went to Pizza Express in Marylebone, which may not seem that exciting, but we had our first date in a Pizza Express on London Wall all those years ago 🙂 I also received the Put-Together Book No.1 and Stitchettes from the Wee Wonderfuls store, which I can’t wait to make. Today was a good day:)

New friend for Mallory panda Originally uploaded by Jennifer Young. I made a little friend for Mallory but he has no mouth so looks slightly scary. Oh well, better luck next time round. I’m really enjoying sewing. I haven’t sewn in years but there’s so much inspiration on the web and through reading blogs, it makes you want to be creative 🙂

My Mini-Moopy Bunny I found this mini moopy pattern on a lovely blog by Carly and couldn’t wait to try it out. I’ve used some spare Orla Kiely and Cath Kidston fabric. Not bad for a first attempt 🙂 My resolutions for 2007 include trying to make more things to decorate our new home. I bought The Crafter’s Companion over the weekend and am looking forward to trying some of the patterns out! Originally uploaded by Jennifer Young.
