The panic is setting in. Today the boxes arrived, I cleaned the oven and the bathroom, and I sorted out yet more things for the nearest charity shop. I managed to find five minutes to make some little fairy cakes 🙂

17 days to go! I had the day off from work today which was great. I spent the day sorting out my flickr account and met my boyfriend for lunch. I also made a start on clearing out stuff prior to our move. The yummy beans accompanied a delicious shepherds pie I made for dinner…
Carrot cake
carrot cake, originally uploaded by Jennifer Young. I spent the weekend doing a mixture of things: painting my ‘rescued’ furniture, locating ancestors on the 1841 Census and making this delicious carrot cake. It was my first attempt and was delicious!
