    Caring bubbles for sensitive skin

Edward has suffered from dry skin since birth so we were really excited to try out the new products from E45 which cater for sensitive skin. The range consists of E45 Junior Foaming Bath Milk, E45 Junior Moisturising Lotion and E45 Junior Hand and Body Wash. We’ve been using the products for the last couple of weeks and have really enjoyed them. Fortunately Edward loves bathtime and his bathroom is full of various products we’ve used to try and ease his dry skin. Many baby products contain SLS which really irritates his skin so we were excited to learn that…

    Wooden baby walker

When Edward saw a large cardboard box in the living room one morning he clearly thought it was Christmas. He was very excited and tried to rip the box open and was a bit put out when I said we had to wait for daddy to come downstairs. (Note to self – make sure any Christmas presents are already assembled before he gets to them!) When daddy was finally ready we opened the box which contained a beautiful wooden baby walker, the tray containing different shapes and sizes of wooden blocks. The walker was really simple to put together and…

Pink Lining Mum on The Run pouch

I have a bit of a thing about changing bags. It might be something to do with having a boy but I feel a changing bag can brighten up our day as the buggy is black and let’s face it, my son doesn’t do pink. Pink Lining asked me if I would be interested in reviewing their latest product – the mum on the run pouch. Pink Lining Mum on The Run pouch The pouch arrived in a lovely Pink Lining branded box and wrapped in pink tissue paper. I love the fact that although it’s a practical item a…

Squeeeee! It takes a lot to get me excited in my pregnancy haze but when I heard about the Orla Kiely board books I rubbed my tired eyes to make sure I hadn’t made it up! Yep, in a few short weeks two lovely board books will be available by one of my design crushes, Orla Kiely. I haven’t been able to find out much about them except they feature 32 pages of her famous designs which will help your little ones learn their colours and numbers using many of her trademark famous designs . How to save money with a second baby

The good thing about having a very active 16 month old is that there’s NO time to think about being pregnant. This is both a good and a bad thing. Good because if I think too much I start to worry how I’m going to cope. Bad because I’m finding it really hard to put my feet up, relax and enjoy being pregnant. At some stage I’m going to have to get the newborn car seat back from my mum’s house as well as the new baby clothes we left there when Edward outgrew them. I need to pack a…

    Gingerbread house finds…

Last week we were on holiday in Teignmouth in South Devon, an area full of charity shops. Despite taking a bag full of toys with us, Edward did very well. He has just discovered tractors and I picked up a collection of Bob the Builder vehicles in perfect condition from a gem of a PDSA shop. Edward spent many happy hours lying on the floor pushing his new tractors around when the weather turned wet. My favourite shop was a Cancer Research shop in Newton Abbot which specialised in second hand baby and children goods. The shop was beautifully presented…
